OUR ROLES

Our Team Members hold a pivotal role within the Bakery. As well as delivering great food and coffee they also provide excellent customer service. We will provide all the training you need to succeed in the role, but what is a must is that you be yourself by aiming higher.

Our Head Baristas are our Coffee gurus and share their passion and love for coffee throughout the Team by delivering excellent training and serving a variety of coffee products. You don’t need to be experienced to become a Barista but have a passionate flair for coffee. (We will provide the training to allow you to be yourself.) You will also support the smooth running of the bakery in the absence of the Bakery Manager / Assistant Bakery Manager.

As a Team Leader, you will support in the smooth running of the bakery – leading the team, giving great customer service and delivering award-winning standards of coffee and food. Ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we will provide all the skills for you to “Aim Higher”.

Our Assistant Managers play a vital role by providing support to the Bakery Manager and deputising for them in their absence. Many of our Assistant Managers “Rise and Shine” on our internal development programme to become the Bakery Managers of the future, and this role gives great experience to make that possible.

As a Bakery Manager you will take ownership of your own bakery, providing great customer service and serving award-winning coffee and food. You will be yourself by keeping customers returning, whilst nourishing your own team. The opportunities don’t stop there. Many of our Area Managers developed from Bakery Manager.

We have many Operational roles within the business and these vary from Area Managers, Designate Managers, Seconded Managers to Operational Training Managers, the majority of whom started their careers with us as a Bakery Manager. Through our great internal development programmes you can Aim Higher and enjoy progressing your journey with us.

Our Support roles are all based in our Retail Support Centre on the outskirts of Bath. We have roles in Finance, Property, Product and HR. The teams strive to deliver outstanding support to the Bakeries and Operational roles by “Keeping It Simple”.
